John Akpata and Nathanaël Larochette

John Akpata is a renowned spoken word artist, educator and radio broadcaster based in Ottawa. He has toured nationally and internationally. His work appears in the anthology The Great Black North : Contemporary African Canadian Poetry (Frontenac House Poetry 2013.) John's fourth album Live From Mercury was released August 2013.

Nathanaël Larochette is a 28 year old Ottawa-area musician who currently composes, performs and records with two instrumental bands. Musk Ox is a meditative acoustic classical journey with three albums to their name and The Night Watch is a cinematic metal adventure with one album released. Nathanaël lives to create, hope, and dream because he believes these are the keys to the meaning of our being.
